The new Elm Street project in Surprise City Center has been years in the making, and Amazing Lash Studio is officially the first business to open its doors in the highly anticipated development.
Located at 16825 N. 145th Ave., Suite 119, behind Better Buzz Coffee, the studio opened in mid-February and anchors what will soon become a vibrant spa row, surrounded by a neighboring nail salon and massage parlor set to open soon.
This marks the third Amazing Lash Studio for the family team of Susanne Ingram and her identical twin daughters, Leslie Philip-Reese and Lindsey Philip. The trio already own successful locations in Goodyear and central Phoenix and had been eyeing Surprise for expansion.
“Surprise was always on our horizon,” said Philip-Reese. “We knew it was a growing market with strong potential for beauty and wellness services.”
The family’s commitment to the area was evident. They signed a 10-year lease more than a year ago, despite the construction delays, and have an option for an additional five years.
“We waited and waited because we knew this project would eventually take off,” Ingram said. “We’re not going anywhere.”
The family opened their first Amazing Lash Studio at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating early challenges like health screenings and mask requirements. Since then, they’ve built a strong presence, with Surprise now giving them three of the 18 Amazing Lash locations in Arizona.
Each family member manages a location: Philip-Reese oversees Surprise, Lindsey Philip manages Goodyear, and Ingram leads operations in Phoenix. The sisters also work front-desk shifts to stay connected with clients and team members.
“You only get one chance to make a first impression,” Philip-Reese said. “The way we make people feel builds trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.”
Amazing Lash Studio’s expansion comes at a time when demand for luxury beauty services continues to rise. Their Surprise studio features a series of private lash rooms where six master stylists provide personalized services. New clients can book a full set of classic lashes starting at $99.99, with three pricing tiers available for ongoing maintenance.
Their entrance into Surprise joins a growing market for lash services in the city, alongside newcomers like LashBar Surprise and Courtney.Lashed Eyelash Extensions.
“Whether it was lashes or another business, we always knew Surprise was going to experience huge growth,” Philip-Reese said. “We’re excited to be part of that momentum.”
