Expect a tête-à-tête that spans a good eight to 12 weeks. You’ll chat with fellow franchisees, weigh the financial and lifestyle perks, and really get down to the roots of the business.

HOW MUCH CAN I MAKE AS A DRYBAR FRANCHISE?
The Federal Trade Commission and state franchise sales regulations do not allow franchisors to provide profit projections. However, if you become a qualified candidate, we would be happy to share our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
HOW MUCH ARE THE ROYALTIES AND OTHER ANNUAL FEES?
Our current Initial Franchise Fee is $50,000. Royalty fee is 7% of gross sales. Marketing fee is up to 2% of gross sales.
DO I NEED EXPERIENCE IN THE HAIR INDUSTRY?
No. We are looking for individuals who share our obsessive dedication to over-the-top customer service. We can teach you and your team the rest.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A DRYBAR FRANCHISE?
All-in start-up costs range from about $550,504-$869,724* depending on a number of things, including the size and condition of your location. A complete breakdown of these estimated costs is included in our FDD.
DOES DRYBAR OFFER FINANCING?
No, you will be responsible for financing. We would be happy to introduce you to lenders and financing brokers who are familiar with our business.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO OPEN A DRYBAR?
Each location is different, but the most time-consuming steps tend to be site selection, lease negotiation, build-out (including permitting) requirements, and training. However, we anticipate it will take approximately 6 to 9 months from signing your lease to opening day at your Drybar.

1. UNDERSTANDING THE DRYBAR BRAND
During this stage you familiarize yourself with the Drybar brand, receive the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to review, and hear more about our brand positioning. We will discuss Drybar culture and determine if you are initially a match to move forward in the process.
2. SUPPORT
Gain a thorough understanding of the support you will receive as a Drybar shop owner from opening your shop to marketing, site selection, training, and operations. You will also have an opportunity to connect with existing owners and ask them about their experience with the brand. As part of the due diligence there will be a background check and a soft credit pull to ensure it makes sense for us to move forward.
3. REAL ESTATE & FINANCIAL PRO FORMA EXERCISE
Review the brand’s strategic support on site selection. The Drybar brand takes data seriously and utilizes both demographics and psychographic data to help you determine the ideal trade area to open a shop. Review the market you’re interested in and finalize a potential territory.
4. CONFIRMATION DAY
If we are a good fit for each other, we will invite you to the Support Center in Denver to meet the team. This day will be dedicated to answering any questions you might have and diving deeper on support roles and what drives success. Confirmation Day preparation paperwork will need to be completed.
5. FINAL APPROVAL & AGREEMENT SIGNING
Once you have been approved by the Executive team and an agreement has been signed, you’ll hit the ground running on a kickoff call with the team will be set up within 2 business days to start the site selection process!
